Edge Equipment’s equipment is engineered for safety:

• All units are equipped with roll over protective structures (ROPS) and falling objects protective structures (FOPS)
• The operator has excellent visibility of the equipment and surrounding area
• The operator works in comfort with joystick controls and comfort seating
• The equipment is versatile and maneuverable to ensure it does not get stuck
• The equipment is easily operable so few employees are required to perform tasks, thus reducing the number of individuals on site and the potential risks

Mulchers and Mulching Heads

With conventional methods such as bulldozing, debris is left behind that can damage equipment, harm personnel and trap wildlife. Further, when windrows are left behind or burned, fire hazards and smoke inhalation compromises the safety and health of personnel and local communities.

Mulching equipment improves safety on site and for personnel by:

• Leaving a smooth, safe and open path so that equipment and personnel can move about unencumbered; no debris, stumps and windrows are left behind
• Removing fire hazards; with mulching, there are no windrow that has to be burned
• Eliminating the need to fall trees by hand; personnel do not have to spend time falling trees which reduces the risk of injury by requiring fewer personnel and hours with the saw

Our mulchers are designed to enhance safety for your operators:

• The blade articulates to cut trees away from the operator
• The guide bar (tree catcher) directs material toward the mulching blades
• The Rayco C87 FM Mulcher has a drum-style cutter head preventing material from projecting sideways thereby reducing the amount of flying debris
• The Bron 500B Mulcher provides a powerful and safe machine, for the most demanding conditions

Dozers

Our dozers are light and versatile. They are ideal for soft, wet and confined areas and prevent operators from getting stuck in difficult ground conditions. The blade articulates in 6 directions, keeping materials away from the operator.

Loaders

Our loaders have a tough undercarriage that can stand up to rocks, snow and sand, making a stable ride in rough terrain for your operators.

Safety Training and Information

We are committed to ensuring you and your personnel are thoroughly familiar with the operation and safe use of the equipment you purchase.

Edge Equipment is producing the following training materials:

• 2-day service school for you and your staff
• Safe practice protocols
• User manuals
• Safety guides
• In-the-field best practices guide, based on our own experience

Edge Equipment provides the manufacturer’s operator manuals. As well, parts manuals and shop manuals are available for purchase.

We train you to repair simple issues and recommend when major repairs should be done by our skilled technicians in our shop. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for either parts or service repairs. We also provide highly-qualified field mechanics, who provide onsite technical support.
