Working with Communities

Edge Equipment is committed to educating local communities about health, safety and the environment. We want our local communities to know how our equipment will benefit them.

When operations occur in their area, communities can rest assured that companies using our equipment have their best interest in mind:

Mulching eliminates pollution from burning windrows and reduces fire hazards
Compact equipment creates less disturbance on the ground and reduces soil erosion to encourage faster re-growth

Our open-door policy means that if communities have any questions or suggestions, they can contact us anytime. Presently, we are active members of the Edmonton and Fort McMurray chambers of commerce as well as the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors (CAGC) and the Forest Industry Suppliers and Logging Association (FISLA).

Employment and Training

All of our personnel receive extensive training on our equipment, which provides Edge Equipment with the best staff and enhances the skill set of the citizens within the community. As well, we work with local contractors to:

Ensure the contractors have the best equipment
Train their personnel, on site, on the safe operation of the equipment
